SHAMS UL HUDA FOOTBALL ACADEMY
Shams-Ul-Huda Football Academy, Founded on May 14, 2011, is dedicated to developing young football talent in Bangladesh. Supported by the Zahedee Foundation, the academy has trained over 200 players. About 37 students of the academy now compete in the different age group of National Level Tournaments.
Named after the late Mr. Shams-Ul-Huda, a revered sports leader, the academy honors his legacy of promoting sports and community development. Mr. Huda led the Jashore District football team to national victory in 1976 and was twice recognized as the country’s best sports organizer. In his memory, the Jashore District Stadium was renamed Shams-Ul-Huda Stadium, and the annual Shams-Ul-Huda Gold Cup has been held since 2008, drawing top teams from across the country.
With strong community support and high-profile visits from local and international dignitaries, the academy continues to inspire and cultivate future football stars in Bangladesh.
